The University Grants Commission’s Minimum Qualifications for Appointment of Teachers and Other Academic Staff in Universities and Colleges and Other Measures for the Maintenance of Standards in Higher Education, 2018, and its subsequently amended regulations, including University Grants Commission (Minimum Qualifications for Appointment of Teachers and Other Academic Staff in Universities and Colleges and Other Measures for the Maintenance of Standards in Higher Education), 2021 dated 11th October 2021.
HNBGU Recruitment 2023 Selection Process
Direct hiring for the positions of assistant professor, associate professor, and professor at the university will be done on the basis of merit through advertising published throughout India and selections made by selection committees that have been duly established.
For the position of assistant professor, the academic score listed in Appendix II (Table 3A) on the official notification will only be taken into account when shortlisting candidates for interviews. Selections will be made solely on the basis of interview performance in accordance with the UGC Regulations, 2018.
For Associate Professors and Professors: According to UGC Regulations from 2018, the shortlisting of candidates will be based on Academic and Research Scores as specified in Appendix II (Table 2) on the official notification.
