TSPSC has announced a total of 113 openings for the position of Assistant Motor Vehicle Inspector in the Transport Department, of which 54 are in Multi Zone-I and 59 are in Multi Zone-II.

Criteria for Educational Requirements and Eligibility for TSPSC Assistant Motor Vehicle Inspector.
- Must be a graduate of an Indian university founded or incorporated by or under a Central Act, a Provincial Act, a State Act, or an institution recognized by the University Grants Commission, or possess an equivalent qualification in mechanical engineering or automobile engineering (UGC).
- must possess a 3-year Diploma in Automobile Engineering from a university accredited by the AICTE in New Delhi or a state government agency recognized by the federal government.
- must possess a valid driver’s license with a heavy vehicle endorsement (Transport Vehicles).
Additionally, women must have a driver’s license for motor vehicles. They must obtain the Heavy Transport Vehicle Endorsement within two years after beginning their employment as Assistant Motor Vehicles Inspectors if they only have a Light Motor Vehicle Driving License; otherwise, their services will be terminated immediately and without explanation.
